MRC Career Development Fellow in Statistics/Epidemiology
Band 4: Fixed term – 3 years
A unique chance to undertake training and development, widen research and
transferable skills and form collaborative links. Applicants must have a good
honours degree and have or be about to complete a PhD in
statistics/epidemiology or an area with high statistical content. The specific
project relates to the social and geographic patterning of heart disease in
Scotland. The starting salary will be between £24,501 and £27,105. Ref: AL2
The successful applicant will join a team of applied statisticians undertaking
a programme of research “measuring health, variations in health and the
