Lecturer in Statistics and Research Methodology
Salary: £25,900 - £38,200 pa incl
As a key feature of the LSE's strategy to enhance social statistics,
applications are invited for a career track joint appointment in the
Department of Statistics and the Methodology Institute tenable from 1st
September 2005, or soon thereafter.
You should have a proven record of high quality research and
publications in some field of social statistics and its applications.
Areas of expertise might include multivariate analysis, categorical data
analysis, sampling theory, survey methodology, longitudinal data
analysis, and analysis of large and complex data sets. You will be an
excellent teacher, able to present both basic and advanced courses.
Equally, your research will be at the highest level of scholarship
within LSE's multi-disciplinary social science environment.
