STATISTICAL GENETICIST

We are seeking to fill a post in statistical genetics, based in the Cancer
Research UK Genetic Epidemiology Unit in Cambridge. The position is funded
as part of a grant studying the genetics of prostate cancer. The successful
applicant will be involved in the design and analysis of large-scale family-
and population-based studies. There will be substantial opportunities for
development of new statistical methodology in this important area.
Applicants should have an MSc or a PhD in statistics or equivalent
qualifications. Experience of genetic analyses, including analysis of
genetic linkage and/or association studies, would be a strong advantage.
