READERSHIP/CHAIR IN STATISTICS A05/52
The Statistics Group was rated a 5* in the 2001 Research Assessment Exercise and as a result of this success the University has invested in Statistics with the creation of this position. We welcome applications from candidates with exceptional research background at either the Chair level (minimum £43,513) or at Reader level (£37,558-£42,573).
You will join a thriving group of statisticians with a high research profile. Current areas of research interest include Bayesian theory and applications, the study of epidemics, applied probability, spatial and shape modelling, time series, biometry, bioinformatics and medical statistics, and ecological modelling. Preference may be given to a person with research interests related to those of the group.
