Medical Statistician (Fixed-term)
Applications are invited for the above post in the Nottingham Unit of the Trent Research and Development Support Unit (RDSU). The successful candidate will be required to assist RDSU staff with statistical analysis, teaching and the development of research proposals in health services research. The person appointed will also take part in the provision of (statistical) advice to NHS colleagues via a clinic-based rota.
Candidates should possess a postgraduate qualification in medical statistics and have experience of analysing datasets using a range of statistical software, including SPSS. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is important.
Salary will be within the range *19,460 - *21,640 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. This full-time post will be offered on a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2010 and is open to job share. However, applications are also welcome from candidates who wish to work part-time (please specify on your application if you wish to work part-time and the number of preferred hours).
