Background:
My client is actively looking for a Senior Statistician with a minimum 3-5 years statistics experience in CRO or pharmaceutical R & D including all phases and large studies. You will be responsible for the design and provide statistical advice, analysis and related services to support and facilitate the achievement of assigned Clinical Development projects in line with the company's strategy and external medical/scientific standards
Primary Duties:
Lead and co-ordinate the provision of statistical plans and analysis for all assigned clinical drug trials, clinical trial reports and protocols. Provide authoritative advice to colleagues and co-marketing partners to ensure the statistical validity of protocols, draft Clinical Report Forms and initial database design for all assigned projects. Advise on and contribute to the monitoring of clinical trials and CRO performance to ensure statistical reports, timelines, cost and quality standards - including patient/centre parameters - are achieved. Ensure that appropriate databases are developed and validated by the CRO to ensure quality standards are met. Liaise with colleagues and contribute statistical input to Global Project Teams to assist in optimising the effectiveness of drug development. Make or recommend statistical decisions and exercise personal decision making authorities in a timely and cost effective manner.
