EPSRC-funded Studentships
The Department of Statistics has 4 EPSRC-funded studentships for PhD study
that provide full funding for UK students, as well as at least one full
studentship for non-UK students. The Department is committed to research
excellence and holds the top RAE research rating. It has grown considerably
over the last few years, and provides a stimulating and active research
environment which encompasses a wide array of interests in both statistics
and probability.
The studentships will cover fees and provide a tax-free stipend of 14,000
pounds (including a 2,000 pound enhancement over the EPSRC minimum) for
2005-06. Stipends will increase in later years and funding is available for
either 3 or 4 years, depending on the requirements of the project.
