We are looking for a statistician to work on the development, implementation and analysis of a Markov model for cervical cancer including carrying out statistical analyses, preparation of reports and devising solutions to new statistical problems as they arise. This is a fixed term post to 31st March 2009.
It is essential the postholder will have a first degree with a large mathematical/statistical content or an MSc in statistics or epidemiology. S/he must be fluent in aspects of Markov or mathematical modelling and be aware of the latest statistical issues or techniques. Familiarity with cancer, biology and chemistry is desirable.
