Senior / Principal Programmer Analyst - SAS

The Candidate:
- MSc or BSc degree with honours in statistics, computer science or a
related scientific or numerate subject.
- Ideally a minimum of 3 years experience of SAS programming within a
pharmaceutical, CRO or medical environment.
- Clinical pharmacology experience would be an advantage.

We currently have vacancies within our Clinical Pharmacology Statistics
and Programming Departments for experienced graduates with SASŪ
programming/analysis awareness.
The posts will be based in Harlow, Essex and Greenford, West London. As
key members of these international, dynamic teams, you'll be working
alongside medical statisticians and data scientists, performing and
co-ordinating analysis and reporting of clinical pharmacology trials data.
You will be able to work independently and as appropriate supervise
contract programmers, and will be involved in the planning and reporting
of statistical summaries and analyses, as well as in the design and
maintenance of a library of statistical programs, ensuring that these are
validated and meet regulatory requirements. In addition, the scope of this
role may include the creation of new tools and processes to improve
department efficiency.
You will be a graduate with a good honours degree or MSc in statistics,
computer science, or a related scientific or numerate subject, ideally
with a minimum of 3 years experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
In addition to your excellent written and verbal communication skills,
you?ll be meticulous and have a flair for problem solving. As an ambitious
and self motivated individual, you?ll have the ability to work effectively
in a highly motivated team. Experience of SASŪ is essential, however
advanced SASŪ training, if required, will be provided as well as specific
clinical pharmacology area awareness.
