Responsibilities
This position will be with the Yield organization, providing ongoing
statistical support for Intel Ireland (yield and engineering) for
process improvements, equipment characterization and statistical process
control. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Providing expertise in statistical data analysis/interpretation to
ensure sound, data-driven decisions
- Reviewing and providing input for process/equipment change
qualification plans
- Developing/teaching courses in statistics, experimental design,
sequential analysis, and SPC to engineers and technicians
- Directing project teams to identify and resolve problems in
maintaining and controlling manufacturing processes
- Developing and running programs/scripts to enable extensive/complex
data analysis for problem resolution
- Driving effective Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods
Qualifications
You should possess a Bachelor or a Master degree in Statistics or a
related field.
Additional qualifications include:
- Strong knowledge and experience with statistical analysis software
(for example, JMP, SAS), statistical software programming and modeling,
statistical process control (SPC), design of experiments (DOE) and
datamining.
- Familiarity with semiconductor processing and reliability
statistics/life testing
- Ability to establish and achieve goals independently and work with
minimal supervision
- Ability to work effectively with others, to provide technical and team
leadership in data analysis and interpretation
- Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly
