Imperial College RCUK Fellowship in Statistical Genomics
£31.363 - £39,094 per annum.
This is an exciting opportunity for a postdoctoral statistics researcher to obtain a prestigious 5-year fellowship to join a world-class team in Biostatistics and Statistical genetics, and to play a strategic role in developing links between genetics/genomics and medical specialities within Imperial College. The academic fellowship scheme provides contract research staff with a path into academia: a permanent academic position at the end of the award is guaranteed (subject to probation). You will have a PhD and postdoctoral experience, a strong interest in biostatistics, experience of analysing large datasets arising in genetics or genomics, and a strong publication record. The Fellow will be based in the Biostatistics group of the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health at the St Mary's, Paddington, campus of Imperial College. S/he will have close links with the Genome Centre at the Hammersmith Campus and the Biostatistics programme of the new Mathematics Science Institute at South Kensington.
