Salary to £58,734 p.a. inc.
The Medical Research Council (MRC) General Practice Research Framework
(GPRF) is a network of 1100 General Practices throughout the UK that
collaborate with the MRC in undertaking high quality research. Our studies
are mainly funded by government and national charities.
A Programme Leader is required to direct a programme of research in primary
care undertaken by the MRC GPRF. The programme of research will include:
· designing and developing the analysis strategy and general
statistical overview of large studies/trials conducted by the MRC GPRF.
· statistical overview and development of scientific strategy around
the secondary analysis of large general practice databases;
· providing statistical support and scientific advice on work
relating to the integration of the activities of the MRC GPRF to UK
Clinical Research Networks.
Salary includes Location Allowance and Central London Supplement.
Benefits include 30 days annual leave days per year, a contributory pension

The salary is dependent on previous experience and may be negotiable for
exceptional candidates.
