Guy?s Drug Research Unit, a prestigious Quintiles company based in London
which specialises in Phase I clinical trials, is one of the worlds leading
drug research units.
We are looking for a high calibre graduate or postgraduate with a strong
medical statistics background and SAS programming skills to join our
expanding group. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in a
multi-functional team and must be an excellent communicator, highly
motivated and an enthusiastic team player.
We welcome applicants already working in the pharmaceutical industry or
clinical trial environment, but will also consider candidates with
alternative experiences (e.g. academic) who wish to pursue this excellent
opening into this highly sought-after field. The role is broad ranging
and although focused on the preparation of standardised and customised
listings, tables and figures using SAS software, will also require the
post holder to lead the departments statistical activities including input
into clinical protocol design, writing statistical analysis plans, design
and release of randomisation schedules, conducting pharmacodynamic
analyses, and acting as the primary point of contact for pharmacokinetic
analyses. We will provide additional training as required to further
equip the successful candidate with the skills to develop within the
unique environment of this industry.
