There is a vacancy for a statistician in the Cambridge Infectious Disease
Consortium (CIDC). CIDC is a new collaborative venture, involving several
Cambridge University departments and other research institutes including the
Animal Health Trust. A major objective of the CIDC is to provide a
world-class research environment for the training of veterinarians as
infectious disease specialists and to develop research programmes in
infectious disease dynamics in collaboration with other CIDC scientists.
You will join a team of mathematical modellers and epidemiologists in the
Disease Dynamics Unit at the Cambridge Veterinary School. You will have
either a PhD in a related field or a Masters degree in statistics with
research experience in experimental design and analysis of biological data,
preferably relating to infectious disease dynamics.
The post is available for 3 years in the first instance, starting
immediately. Interviews will be held in March.
