Dear Diana,
The latest version of Power and Precision (http://www.power-
analysis.com/specifications.htm) now offers power analysis for logistic
regression. The package is generally very good although I havent yet tried this
new feature.
For your second question I recommend the book by Hosmer and Lemeshow.
