The Candidate:
- PhD in a computational specialty
- Experience in mathematical modelling and computational systems biology;
- Good programming skills
The Role:
Scientific Computing and Mathematical Modelling (SCMM) develops
mathematical models as part of research collaborations within GSK R&D.
This scientific research position will be used to support the development
of mathematical models for computational systems biology (biological
pathways, networks) and related projects to use these models to evaluate
new drugs.
This position requires experience and knowledge in both building,
evaluating, validating mathematical models of pathways and biological
networks.
The candidate should have excellent mathematical (numerical and
analytical) skills, relevant biological knowledge, and good general
computational skills.
