Dear all,
I am writing to ask for some advice.
I have diary data for 422 individuals across 28 days.
On each day participants told me how many snacks they ate, and how many
hassles they experienced.
I have started analysing the data using a Multilevel Modelling package
called HLM6
By entering #snacks and #hassles as Level 1 predictors, and gender as a
level 2 predictor, I have found that the number of snacks a person eats
is related to the number of hassles they experience, and that this
relationship is stronger for females.
Now I would like to find out if there is a "time lag".
In other words, is the number of hassles a person experiences on one day
related to the number of snacks they eat the following day, or the day
after that.
I do not know how to set up my data file to enable this analysis.
Can anyone recommend how I could do this, or does anyone know of a good
book to help me?
Thank you in advance,
Brian
