Hi,
Sorry for my English, but I thought that all stat is for statistical questions also.
I mean by "good enough" , I mean the regression curve will be a good tool to use for prediction
I have a continuous dependent variable Y and a continuous independent variable X, and I want to model with a nonparametric regression the relationship between Y and X, I have 10 (n=10)observations of (X1,Y1), .....(Xn,Yn), my question was if nonparameteric regression models, assume n to be large in order to have a good estimate (from a statistical point of view) for the regression curve
Cheers
Youss

Good enough for what?
How long should a piece of string be?
