E-learning Resource Development Co-ordinator (Research Methods)

Applications are invited for the post of E-learning Resource Development Co-ordinator. The appointee will provide support for the production and use of C&IT based learning resources for Research Methods within the School of Medicine. They will work directly with teaching staff to produce high quality online learning resources in the area of Research Methods, initially for postgraduate taught students. A degree or postgraduate qualification with experience of research methods is essential. Experience in designing and managing materials within an online learning environment would be desirable.
The School of Medicine is expanding its provision and support for e-learning. This is a new post to enable further expansion to take place. You will produce e-learning resources for Research Methods in the School of Medicine and as directed by teaching staff. Ideally, you should have an understanding of research methods as well as the principles of developing effective teaching and learning material. This would involve students in some sort of activity and problem solving from which they would receive feedback on their progress.
The salary in the range £22774 - £28009 per annum.
