Online short course: “The Statistics of Environmental Impact Assessment”
April 29 – May 27, 2005
If you help prepare or review environmental impact assessments, Dr. Bryan
Manly’s online course “The Statistics of Environmental Impact Assessment”
will be of interest.
This course reviews general statistical procedures (sampling, regression,
analysis of variance, control charts) from an environmental science angle,
and also covers topics that are specific to environmental impact and risk
assessment. If you are an analyst with general statistics in your
background and need a review from an environmental perspective, or if you
are manager or scientist who needs to know more about what the
statisticians are talking about, this course is for you.
Dr. Bryan Manly is the author of “Statistics for Environmental Science and
Management,” “The Statistics of Natural Selection on Animal Populations,”
“Resource Selection by Animals,” and many other books and articles.
