The Royal Statistical Society and Statisticians in the Pharmaceutical Industry (PSI) are holding a joint conference this July on 'Statistics in Healthcare'. The conference will take place between 19 and 21 July at Cardiff City Hall. The main conference will be preceded by short courses on 18 July.
Plenary sessions will be held on the following topics: Novel Study designs, Dataset analysis:dose selection, and Public perception of risk and public policy. The conference programme will also have parallel sessions of contributed papers as well as tutorial sessions, a CPD panel discussion, and a 'new starters' session.
Contributed papers and posters are invited on the following topics and any other subject related to the theme of the conference:

Cost-effectiveness/Health economics
Genetics/Virology

Study design
Quality of life measurement
