INNOVATIVE APPROACHES TO SERVICE TEACHING IN STATISTICS
This year the ASLU meeting includes an afternoon of workshops as well as the usual format of conference speakers in the morning. The conference/workshop will take place at Coventry University on Wednesday, 13th April, 2005.
The purpose of the meeting is to highlight issues concerning teaching statistics in service courses, particularly in the areas of Business, Psychology and Health. Speakers include Sidney Tyrrell, who is a National Teaching Fellow, Richard Castle and Martin Greenhow. The afternoon's workshops include a session where delegates can try out materials from the FDTL4 STARS project.
