We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive individual to make a significant contribution to academic policy making in Scotland's leading research university, which is also a major player in the UK sector. This offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of the fast-changing and increasingly more commercial environment of UK Higher Education. The appointee will be expected to make significant contributions to initiating, developing and implementing academic policy, and to manage the central Secretariat function. As a senior member of the administrative staff the Head of Academic Affairs will also contribute broadly to the University's activity.
The salary will be on grade 5 of the University's salary scales for senior administrative staff (£37,558 - £42,537).
