Hi Mark
It depends what type of path you are laying, concrete, tarmac, flag or
block paver, crushed stone, etc. and the users e.g. pedestrian only,
equestrian, motor vehicles (including maintenance machinery), this
further affected by the soil/ground over which the path will be laid.
I'd suggest contacting the footpaths officer or someone in highways dept.
