Subject: [ACCESSIBUILT] Guide Dog Procedures at Leisure/Sport Centres
Hi Everyone,
What procedures do you have in place when a Guide Dog user asks to go
swimming?
Do you have pens to accommodate the assistance animal?
Do you allow the dog as far as poolside? If not,
what other area are restricted from assistance animals/guide dogs?
Is the guide dog owner expected to bring someone with them to look after the
dog or will a member of staff be expected to.
Please send me information about size of pen, signage or policy etc.
Thanks,
John Rainey
