Hi
Hi
I know the Ambulance Service have a blanket ban on ambulance crew for people
who have insulin dependent diabetes (this is following guidance from DVLC).
Beyond that I had always believed they are covered by the DDA in the same
way as any other organisation. Certainly the Ambulance service in my area
(N. Yorks and N. Tees) strive to go beyond Part M. I doubt they'd do that
if they believed it didn't apply to them.
I too look forward to hearing the resolution!
Lynn

shouldn't the architect provide an access statement explaining why the
design varies from approved document M and attaching the NHS document they
refer to for the building control officer to assess whether it is a
reasonable approach? what's the potential for it to ever be converted to
more public use in the future?
look forward to hearing the resolution!
