Hi John
JMU Access Partnership runs training on access statements for planners, building control officers etc as you describe. I have passed your enquiry to our training co-ordinator, Michael Parsons and he will be in touch with details. ([log in to unmask] tel 020 7391 2002)

Subject: [ACCESSIBUILT] Access Statement Training
Hi,
Training on and about Access Statements has been highlighted as a gap in
Knowsley MBC. I have been asked to identify organisations that provide
training packages that will enable Planning Officers, Access Officers and
Building Control Officers to fully understand their respective roles in
interpreting what the Access Statements should say and do.
If you have a training package that you feel will fill this knowledge gap,
please let me know. If your organisation cannot help us at this time,
perhaps you can suggest another organisation that may.
I will be meeting my colleagues on 14th July so it will be helpful if you
can get back to me before then
Regards,
John Rainey Tel. 0151 443 3791
