Well, I agree with this, my son Jacob is eleven and there's no sign of abatement,
though it is easier when he's going through all of the jokes in his books and
making them up (though I don't know about Beano books, I think I know the
jokes), than when he expects me to do likewise and wants me to make him
laugh all day, so as a result, in self-defense, I've me own repertoire of horrible
jokes as part of my mother survival strategy kit, or perhaps that's just a handy
excuse for what I've never grown past. And yes, I take your point, Alison, mine
was definitely worse, though I'm sure not the worst I have come up with today.
