Well, Ann, I've had the erratic delivery of listserv messages happen before and
don't know what causes that, but it doesn't seem to matter much.
I've loaded some virus scans and other programs to my mac and there aren't any
viruses, etc, here, but it does seem that I've had an open port, that allows bots
and hackers to pick up the signal and use it, like bots periodically rescanning
the pages of The Drunken Boat for 'new' stuff . I'm not sure exactly how this
works, except it has to do with my being on dsl here, so that the computer is
online all the time. So I've installed a firewall and the port is closed. Whether this
has anything to do with anything, I have no idea!
good luck,
Rebecca
