I've been noting these concerns, and others. I'm not sure what they have to
do, if anything, with the jiscmail software, though sudden spurts of list
messages is a fairly common problem - if it continues and is annoying, let
me know and I'll Make Inquiries.
The central problem as far as e address harvesting goes is that our emails
are in the archives, for any nasty little harvester to pick up and put on
their spams if they so desire. Bar closing the archives altogether, I'm
not sure what can be done about that.
