(I have a friend who passed her graduate exams on the 18thC by playing a
tape of the Threepenny Opera in the car on the way there. The question was
on Gay's +Beggar's Opera+. Who the hell can tell the difference? Mind you,
I once conned my way through a seminar on +Oliver Twist+ based on my faint
memories of the Classics Illustrated version of the same.)
