I think it was a TV press conference that included that witty exchange,
which ended with Gen. Pace admitting (blushingly) to being untrainable.
(That's a military joke, I guess.)
Rummy needs help, though. "Insurgency" (he feels or maybe thinks)
gives the "insurgents" too much dignity. We could help him find some
term that would not perhaps sink to the level of "scumbags"--e.g.,
Freedom Fighters. I mean, of course, that they're fighting against the
freedom the US is fighting hard to lay down on them. Go figure.
