I gave in and bought a programme tonight having taken a sly look and seen
that it is being sung in German (otherwise why print it with translation). I
chose the seat myself at the box office on their computer and I am not
behind a pillar but too far back for a really good view. That was all that
was left on the first morning of ordinary booking.
Tonight was good solid stuff with the Mozart winning over the Brahms by an
edge. But the highlight was the Haydn encore.
