Dear Alison
May I submit the poem called "Obeisance" to your Snappers list?
Obeisance
-- Harriet Zinnes
They are not conceivable:
wilderness
absence
oblivion
the past
a
bhorrence
and devaluation
obeisance
willingness
justification
and deliverance.
Before and after
and the when
and besides
It is not conceivable
what are
the wilderness
and absence
Deplorable is the essence
and existence hangs on
as the conceivable shakes up the inconceivable
and deliverance advances its presence
to simply hang on.
