It's not only not nice, it's generally morally
repugnant -- because the result of this temper tantrum
ploy, which I've seen operate all too frequently, is
that someone else ("a real academic") adds the
unpleasant part of crybaby's work to his work. It's
forgiveable, barely, in a Pulitzer Prize winner, but
there's only one of them per year and who knows how
many temper tantrums?
