Thanks, Judy. I like to think they moved to indict Tom Delay after reading
my poem! That will be the day.
Currently there is a Fire Box under gag-order on my blog - a funny little
discovery on this morning's walk.
By the way - at least among folks in the USA - has anyone heard how the
Swift Boat Veterans made it through Katrina and Rita? Were the boats
capsized. Did those men drown - speechless, full fathom whatever? They been
very quiet. Unless they're the same ones that are now trying to say the New
Orleans cops (looting et al) were the cause of the City's tragedy, and not
Bush's failure to act in the face of Katrina. Swift Boat Veterans for Truth
in the Bayou, etc. - I can already hear them talking it up at their
meetings. How to finance the adverts, etc.
It's a wonderful country. No wonder the Civil War brought some such
cannibalistic pleasure.
Darkly expectant,
Stephen V
