I think I've written exactly one thing that might be
environment-related, called "The Burning Lake," but it was not about the
natural environment. Environment as metaphor? Well, that probably goes
without me having to say so.
However, thank you...for I was able to read Joan Didion's account of the
death of her husband John Gregory Dunne and its aftermath. _The Year of
Magical Thinking_ is on my short list.
