Rebecca, American Poetry Review would have it hands down. Poetry (Chicago)
is still too stodgy and old school. APR is not perfect but does try for a
broader spectrum of styles/schools featured. Their circulation numbers are
probably comparable.
ARR, I seem to recall, has a 19,000 subscriber base...which aint bad. The New
Yorker is much maligned for the poetry it prints, but those poems do get a
lot of eyeballs, and get in front of those who may not read the poetry-only
magazines.
