Actually, I've taken to saving the copy in MS word as "text only", re-opening it, and copy/paste into the email window....convoluted I know, but I think it works.

The lines are certainly spaced. Yet the original I pasted from has no
spacing.

Lawrence, if you're pasting from Word into an email, this always happens.
It doesn't show on the email before you send it, but shows-up when the email
arrives. It also shows if you Save the email, then reload it.
The way round is instead of typing <CR> in Word as normal, type <SHIFT><CR>
(both keys simultaneously).
(I owe this to someone, I've forgotten who, who pointed it out on a list.)
There are undoubtedly more elegant and easier ways to solve the problem, but
the SH/CR things beats what I used to do, SAVE the email, reload it, and
knock out the extra line-spaces one by one.
