I don't know about accidental, Janet. It's my belief that the ear knows what
it's doing, if we only trust it and tune in to it.
Though that doesn't mean it's not possible to neaten up and emphasise such
effects sometimes. Or that they can't be overdone! But that's largely a
matter of learning to listen and trust, as far as my experience goes anyway.
