Thanks for sending this poem. A lot to think about in there over the day.
On the question of being blind to the problem, and then the way seems
obvious, what I've found is that as soon as i began writing poetry, I very
soon stopped again as the problems, or at least the questions, mounted - and
I began to write about poetry instead, reviews and so on, as if this might
be one day prove to be speculative. I wonder if this is what the poetry
scholar or critic finds, that they were working-through all the time for the
always deferred moment they might write a poem.
Thanks for the very interesting discussion. The questions get clearer just
mentioning them.
