I hesitate to comment adversely on poems; and I hesitated before commenting on this, but I felt I had to.
I don't think, though, I'll say any more on that.

when poets did work these trad forms, I dont think they sat about
thinking well now I need a trochee here, then back to the old iambs.
They felt the movement of the language in verse & when it felt right
they let it be._ certainly reflects my feeling
I havent read the latest perloff, I think - title? - but nearly said earlier that I'd at least want to acknowledge a stress between stressed and unstressed
Her system sounds interesting
That's a fine list of poets you have there; and I'd stress Levertov and Niedecker just because the others get such coverage
I am truly sorry to see poetry / not poetry come into the debate. I can't see that it's useful
