This is all very interesting, particularly the bit about the quilts. Rather
a sad thought, though.
I've now established to my satisfaction, by means of various visual and
memory-led clues, that the instrument in my dream was in fact a mechanical
piano. I think my subconscious is trying to tell me something . . .
