Best seen in context, also: the sequence it belongs to has a number of
running threads about dreams, revenants, dead and missing persons and
so on, so this one is partly a synopsis of those other poems.
"Suckered revenants" sounds rather Lovecraftian, now I think of it
(many-tentacled Entities from the Dungeon Dimensions - well, that's
Pratchett, but anyway...). It's actually a reference to Ghostbusters,
in which the spooks are hoovered up and then trapped in an
"ecto-containment facility". This as a metaphor for poetry.
