And it's almost summer here, but we haven't quite made it to +21 yet.
At least for the past week.
I've been reading some new books of CanPo for review; attended a
reading by George Elliott Clarke, a poet & opera writer, who now has a
first novel out, & who was awarded an honorary doctorate at the U of A
yesterday, then happily read through the novel, from both operas, & a
couple of his books of poetry. Lots of fun, but I had to leave at the
hour & a quarter mark, while he was in full flight answering a question
about how he does all that...
Magpie Words is a wonderful book, indeed, Jill.
