Nice work, Frank - bringing "tempo" and "temp" together.
I remember arriving in Needles, Arizona at 5 in the morning, kids in the
back seat and pulling into a motel parking lot over which the public
thermometer announced the temp at 102 degrees Farenheit. Before I began to
doze, I watched the two or three grasshoppers take slight flights over the
dry grass that passed for lawn. "This is the way the world will end," I told
myself.
