Yes, the resemblance may have some depth, too; and I apologise for going too far
I should have added some caveats. I don't have time / inclination for peek-a-boo over "where am I coming from?" and just deleting is not an option when I believe the message is mischievous in purpose
Dominic gave as good as he got, if intention counts, with an extraordinary and in places perhaps telling fantasy about my perception of him. But I take this opportunity to say that I do not respond "every time" he "opens his mouth". A man has to breathe. I am actually not that interested in him; and I hope that he won't take *that as a self-evident attack.
If it is so important to warn us about the dangers of something, a little more directness will reassure those of us supposedly plagued by mental chimeras, who might be alarmed at the relish of "a good couple of swings" of Hitchens' dishonest and malicious hatchet
I welcome the openness of this list though I am rarely able to join in. I would have preferred not to this time. The openness should not be abused; and I judge that it has been. As well as a little more directness, a little less obsession with Galloway, perhaps - the gentleman protests too much
I intend now, as I said, to say no more in this vein

I take your point, Lawrence, but this looks rather like ad hominem attack -
