Pinots from Tasmania--yum! And I had a superb one grown in the Adelaide
Hills, within sight of downtown.
A lot of the best Australians don't make it here, but I discovered in a
store around the corner a very nice 2002 bush vine grenache from the
Barossa Valley, made by Yalumba. Not a great wine, but mighty pleasant for
US $14. Too soft to serve with poet, tho--the pinots would do better. In
general, poet should be treated like wild boar (spelling?).
