I wasn't aware of that idea about left-handedness! I have three children,
two of whom (the right-handed ones) write poetry, stories &c. The third,
left handed child is the one deeply interested in engineering and
mathematics. He has a model steam engine which gets exercise at least once
a week. They all seem equally "creative" to me; but I have to say that
casual observation tells me that _all_ children are creative.
When I used to do fencing, I hated facing left handers. They were
practically impossible to beat; somehow it meant that all my torso was
exposed, while theirs was impossible to get at. I couldn't ever quite work
out why that was so, but it seemed very unfair.
