Lecturer in Film & Television Studies
Applications are invited for the above post based in the 5* research rated (RAE 2001) School of American and Canadian Studies. The successful candidate will have expertise in any area of film and/or television studies, although a concentration in American film and/or television may be an advantage. The Lecturer will be expected to carry out administrative duties, and be research active. Candidates must have successfully completed, or be close to completing, a PhD by the date of appointment, and will be expected to supervise and examine undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations.
Salary will be within the range £23,643 - £35,883 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. This post is available from 1 September 2005 or as soon as possible thereafter.
